Subterranean Termite Control

Subterranean termites - Well, most of the time you dont even know you have them. Until you see this. Subterranean termites ( Reticulitermes ) are under ground termites. Usually found where wood is in contact with the ground. Or where there is moisture and heat ( washer and dryer  or bathroom ) . Mud tubes that are are built by the workers are used for protection from ants, their natural enemy. On my service calls, owners usually point out swarmer tubes and the swarmers like in the second picture. Suberranean termitse cause an estimated 4.5 billion dollars damage anually.
